A reconstructed traditional village: the "Dimitrie Gusti" National Village Museum in Bucharest is an oasis of tranquillity and tradition, where you can teleport yourself back to the Romania of yesteryear. Here, on an area of 7 hectares, there is a reconstructed traditional village, consisting of old houses from all ethnographic areas of the country, wooden churches, water mills, inns and other vernacular monuments.

You'll admire the folk architecture specific to each region, learn about traditional crafts and discover old household objects, folk costumes and other elements of Romanian culture.
